A major international bank has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist. Your duties will be varied to include: 

  • Assist senior HR in supporting the business  
  • Develop relationships with internal/external clients
  • Handle queries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure HR information systems/databases and all employee personnel files are kept up to date
  • Liaise with recruitment firms, attend agency briefings and organise interviews
  • Review/update job descriptions
  • Carry out competency-based interviews
  • Pre-employment screening for new hires
  • Assist with joining induction presentations
  • Manage the Maternity/Paternity, career breaks and sickness etc including flexible working requests
  • Assist during restructure/redundancy process
  • Employee relations - support management with complex cases
  • Conduct grievance/disciplinary investigation meetings
  • Conduct exit interviews

Your experience must include:

  • Strong proven experience working as an HR Generalist within the financial services sector is essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong academics  - ideally CIPD qualified
