A major international bank has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist.

Your duties will be varied to include: 

  • Assist senior HR in supporting the business, focussing on the Front Office
  • Develop relationships with internal/external clients
  • Handle queries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Review/update job descriptions, liaise with recruitment agencies, organise interviews, carry out competency-based interviews and conduct pre-employment screening for new hires
  • Assist during restructure/redundancy process
  • Employee relations - support management with complex cases
  • Conduct grievance/disciplinary investigation meetings
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Ensure HR information systems/databases and all employee personnel files are kept up to date

Your experience must include:

  • Strong and proven experience working as a HR Generalist (including recruitment and employee relations) gained within banking is essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong academics - ideally CIPD qualified
