A small prestigious International Bank has an exciting broad ranging role to join its Compliance Dept. Your responsibilities will include:
- Being “hands on” getting involved in all aspects of compliance ensuring that all activities of the London Branch comply with regulations/regulators (FCA/PRA)
- Assist all business areas with practical compliance, risk & AML guidance and also compliance training
- Assist with reviewing/implementing appropriate systems and controls for the business areas
- Carrying out compliance/financial crime monitoring programmes
- Assist in drafting/maintaining internal policies and procedures
- Prepare various Compliance reports
- Assist the MLRO with various reporting
- Undertake regular research and analysis to identify and report on legal or regulatory changes
- Assist with submission of regulatory returns
Your experience must include:
- Strong proven regulatory compliance experience gained within in a small/medium sized bank covering a range of products ( e.g. Corporate/Correspondent banking, Project/Structured Finance, Treasury etc.)
- Good understanding of FCA/PRA, Financial Crime, AML controls, Data Protection etc.
- Able to work autonomously and as a team player - showing initiative/pro-active attitude to workload/requirements
- Develop strong working relationships at all levels in the Bank
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral to present at committee meetings
- Ideally experience of preparing Regulatory returns
- Strong IT skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc
- Degree educated
