The Manager of the Banking & Finance division and Managing Director of Prime Personnel, Ian began his career in treasury operations with The Bank of China in 1994, before working as a short sterling money broker at Martins. He joined HSBC and worked with the private and institutional client service division through the “.com boom”, before spending a year with the team that successfully built and launched HSBC’s global internet stockbroking platform. Ian joined Prime Personnel in March 2001 and has built an established and specialised team that is the driving force of the success Prime Personnel is today.

Paula Lunn - Assistant Manager, Banking & Finance

Paula has extensive experience in financial services recruitment, entering the field following time spent with major banks in operational and analytical positions. Initially working for Jonathan Wren before starting up LMA, Paula joined Prime Personnel in 2009 and is regarded by the industry to have an excellent reputation for assisting candidates with making the right career decisions. Paula’s extensive client base enjoys a professional and knowledgeable service across commercial and investment banking from entry level to senior management positions.
Ben Colbert - Cyber and GRC Lead

Ben began his career in the City of London as a trainee money broker with Harlow Butler Ueda before transitioning into the recruitment industry, where he quickly established himself as a specialist in Cyber and GRC talent. In the early 2000s, he founded Proprius Recruitment with the objective of creating a dedicated niche consultancy focused on delivering high-calibre recruitment solutions across these critical domains. Over the following two decades, Ben led the organisation to become a multi-million-pound provider of permanent and contract recruitment services. His leadership supported major UK institutions across banking, insurance, utilities, consultancy, e-commerce, and a range of specialist sectors, consistently delivering trusted expertise and long-term value. Ben now joins Prime to build and lead its Cyber and GRC services division, bringing a proven track record of strategic delivery, market insight, and strong stakeholder relationships to clients, candidates, and partners.
Luisa Bediako - Candidate Resourcing Consultant

Luisa is a Business Computing Systems graduate and began working for Prime Personnel in December 2023. Luisa is responsible for the sourcing and management of our ever increasing candidate list, placing talent across our Commercial and Corporate banking business at all levels.
Jessie Calverley - Office Manager

Jessie originally joined Prime Personnel in 2010 as the Office Administrator and was with the organisation for five years before moving on to work in the Financial Services industry. She has recently returned to Prime Personnel as the Office Manager, with a renewed skill set that enables her to professionally support our team of consultants. Jessie’s varied responsibilities includes the management of social media and Prime’s market presence, front of house, compliance and events management.
